What is a Story?

A story represents a unique insight Lyra Agent has found. A story leads with a summary, then the related observations behind that insight, the numbers, and supporting customer quotes. Stories will be available only within the app during closed beta, in the future users will be notified of new stories via Slack, with Microsoft Teams to follow.

How are stories tailored to what my team cares about?

Stories are directly connected to Spaces. A Space is a dedicated Space for a team or project, customized by a saved set of filters — for example, a specific product line, region, or channel. Because Lyra Agent operates within your team's Spaces rather than the full dataset, every story it surfaces is relevant and tailored to your team or project — so you only get the insights you actually care about.

What story types are available?

Lyra Agent currently surfaces four story types: top issues, top praises, growing issues, and feature requests. More story types are on the way.

Top issues, top praises, and growing issues run weekly, covering the previous Monday through Sunday, compared against the week before. Feature requests run quarterly, covering the last completed calendar quarter. The window updates only at quarter end. Quarter-on-quarter comparisons are not shown, as fluctuations between periods are not typically indicative of a meaningful trend. Users don't select these dates — the windows are set automatically by the schedule.

Can users configure their own stories?

Not at the moment. Stories are currently generated automatically, and users cannot customize existing stories or create their own.

  • Top issues — The biggest sources of negative feedback in a Space. Delivered weekly, covering the previous Monday through Sunday, compared against the week before. Up to 5 issues, each with the observations behind it, the volume, and supporting quotes.

  • Top praises — The biggest sources of positive feedback in a Space. Delivered weekly, covering the previous Monday through Sunday, compared against the week before. The number of praises surfaced depends on how much feedback is available. Each praise can include its volume and supporting quotes.

  • Growing issues — Issues showing meaningful growth compared with the previous week, based on both the size and percentage of the increase. Delivered weekly, with up to 10 issues surfaced. Newly connected or backfilled data may also affect reported growth.

  • Feature requests — The biggest asks customers are making in a Space. Delivered quarterly, covering the previous calendar quarter, with no comparison window.

Can stories be automated via workflows?

Not in the first release. We're currently working on the ability to send automated notifications to Slack or Microsoft Teams.
